How to Get an Official Kentucky Crash Report
The Kentucky State Police (KSP) Records Branch receives crash reports from both state and local police officers, and some city departments, such as Louisville Metro Police and Lexington Police, also provide their own reports. You can get a copy by sending KSP a written open records request, online or by mail, and KSP says accident reports are also available from BuyCrash.
